The man was stabbed in the area of South Queen and West Forum streets at approximately 7:22 a.m., according to the City police.
The man was taken to a local hospital, where he remains, according to the police.
"Through the course of the investigation, our detectives uncovered the suspect and the victim knew each other. The suspect is not currently in custody. At this time, we believe this was an isolated incident and there is no immediate danger to the public," the police say.
